Next time I'm told that I'm getting a crown, I should check the fine print. All I got was a fake tooth. Man, and I thought I was finally going to be Queen of Tennessee.
(omg I'm so lame)

It took them so long they had to re-shoot me with pain killers and my gum was starting to swell and they couldn't get the packing to stay in. It hurts like H-E-double-hockey sticks. That's why I put it in the suck thread. Cause my face hurts and I wanna whine about it. *whines*

Aw Trethowan! I really hate getting dental work done. I hope the pain dies down quickly. And I think by "I'm so lame" you really mean "I'm so awesome" because that's really far more accurate.

Minor suck from me. I just had an Etsy and Paypal claim filled against me. My store policy is it can take up to two weeks for a custom order to ship. It's pretty clearly stated but the claim is because it's been one week and the item hasn't arrived yet. The item is going to Singapore. Even if I had completed the custom item the night it was ordered and shipped next day, it would probably still take a few more days to arrive there. If the buyer doesn't remove the claim the only way for it to not escalate to a Trust and Security issue is for postal tracking confirmation, which USPS doesn't let you have on international packages and I'm not dealing with FedEx or UPS and the extra charges. So this is probably the end of me accepting international orders. :(

You won't get in any sort of trouble with Etsy or Paypal, will you?
People really should look at shipping policies before ordering. If they don't, I don't understand how they can put it back on you when it is clearly posted.

Today I was looking at tracking for something I purchased on Etsy. I was wondering where it was as she shipped it well over a week ago. When I looked back at her policy she states that it can take up to 45 days from the time she ships it. Oh well, that's life. I certainly wouldn't put blame on her, and she does warn people on her page.
I guess some people are a bit less understanding about how things work.

Coming from Australia to the US via pack mule means just that. We might get a car before I get my book.

And on the pet side replacement Blarney is going to be replaced herself, fostering, service dog training, she keeps digging out of the yard when people leave problems. At least I know we won't be exchanging the little dogs. It's hard because Blarney was going to be forebber and ebber and ebber before she got sick.

If it's a custom made item, paypal buyer protection doesn't apply, so all you probably have to do is let paypal know that the item in question is being made to order and they should make sure you keep your payment from them. I don't know about etsy though.

On the UPS side I used them to ship a DVD to Italy, which the person I was trading with said had postal issues. It cost $15 and arrived in about a month. Forget their online estimates, although those are pretty close to the high end, and either call the hotline, if you have an idea how much your thing weighs, or pop in to a store and get an estimate.

It got the price of my reroot Monsters from $7 and up, without their box but down to the very ounce, to less than $5 on average with a tracking number. I did all but stop offering shipping anywhere but the US and Canada because of possible shenanigans.
