Ok! So yesterday I took advantage of the nice weather and headed out with Hisui to the Nagasaki port for some photos.
Along the way, I was chatted to by a French painter now living in Japan, a nice older lady by the port, and a sales clerk in the shopping centre when we went for some shopping after the photos. Excellent way for me to practice my Japanese I find, Hisui makes for great conversation starters, lol. We got stared at and whispered about, usually with some amusement, especially when I would stop to pose him for photos. Sometimes people would actually stop and watch me. The most amusing time was when I was talking to the French painter thus 1) I had this giant doll with me and 2) we were chatting away in English so it got us even double the attention, and this one girl walking past was so busy watching us she didn't see another lady coming from the opposite direction (who was texting on her cell, so she also wasn't watching where she was going) and the two crashed head on. I tried really hard not to laugh, but I guess we did make quite a sight.
Anyway! Onto the photo~s! (Oh, and I did have Hisui's carrier bag with me but it was more fun to just hold him, easier to stop and take photos too I found.)

Near my apartment there's a river with a bridge that's supposedly old and famous called Megane Bashi (Spectacles bridge) which you can see on the left side of this photo. Along the river is really nice with flowers, trees, benches, (ice cream vendors :3).

H: "What a grand and marvelous ship!"
~~~
H: "Just a dollie chilling by the sea. Move along, nothing to see~"
~~~
H: "I can completely commandeer such a ship with ease!"
~~~
H: "Fear not fair maidens, for life guard Hisui shall protect you from the murky depths of the sea!"
M: "...<__< Right..."
~~~
H: "A stroll along the promenade my dear?"
~~~
H: "Psst...Mengya, how much cash do you have? Let's buy that boat and sail to the ends of the world!"
M: "Haha, well after you I now have a giant goose egg in my bank account."
~~~
H: "Look! My feet can touch the ground!"
~~~
M: "Hisui, get down from there before you faceplant in dirt!"
H: "No problem, no problem, I've got this covered!"
