let me tell u about my cats
Well, backstory... when I was a kid, like, eight years old, I discovered that there were stray cats living in the huge hill-side backyard that is behind my house. In fact, I believe it was my great-grandparents who had built the small house sitting in the side of that hill, and my mother's grandmother used to live there, her mother, and for the time that I knew it, all three of my great uncles, each at different times. My great-uncle Muke lived there when I was a kid, and he would feed the cats. Many times I'd go up on that hill as a kid and find cats here and there, and often times litters. I'd even found a pair of albino kittens once, with bright red eyes! Over time, the cats were eventually caught, or they ran off or so, and nowadays there's hardly any cats up on that hill anymore. If there are any, they're from the neighborhood up on the hill across from us. But basically, as a kid, I definitely grew up surrounded by cats... _xD
My first pet-owned cat was Sarah, a tuxedo cat. She was my pal. xB She had three litters in her lifetime, and we'd kept two kittens from her second litter. When those cats grew to cathood, we'd had a situation for a time where those two cats and Sarah ended up having litters at once (that being Sarah's third litter). So we at one point ended up with 13 kittens.
After raising them for a while, the kittens were eventually given away. Years down the road we gave away the two cats from Sarah's second litter, and when Sarah was 12, she passed away. I always remember her and always will to me dying day. She was a really awesome cat. Really small, but she had plenty of (c)attitude. xD
These days, we simply have one cat, whom we adopted from a lady who was giving away kittens in a nearby neighborhood. The kitten's name originally was Nut-Meg, and so I decided not to totally blip out her name and called her Megura instead (after Megara from Hercules, but I could never decide on how to spell the name _xD). Meggie is now about six-ish years old, and she's a sweet little thing herself. She's a gray tabby and behaves very well and can understand things pretty easily. She also knows not to use her claws when playing, and she loves laps and to be held and hugged. When she sees something weird on the floor, she usually has to carefully reach her paw out to touch it to make sure of what it is.
