Wow, Faydreams, that is brilliant! And oddly enough, I have almost all the materials on hand for that! Definitely bookmarking this, and also may make it as an alternate bit for Samara when she's not in her main outfit.
I'm heavily basing Samara on the version of Bastet depicted in the mobile game Puzzle & Dragons:
http://puzzle-dragons-global.wikia.com/wiki/BastetExcept without the hair -- I tried a wig and immediately decided it didn't work. So it's things like the bracelets, anklets and crown that I want to create.
I have lots of options to work with for the gold. I've worked with Sculpey before, but it doesn't seem like the right tool here... though I'll possibly use it for tiny beads. I thought to work with plastic, either #1 or #2 (which my community doesn't recycle unless it has a threaded neck/mouth, so I have plenty) or #4 (the plastic that Perler beads are made from), but I wouldn't be able to fine-tune sculpting bits of it in three dimensions. I'm still waiting to stumble across something while cleaning my storage room and have an epiphany.
