I am Faydreams or Barbie if you would prefer. Yeah, that's my real first name and my mother did have a since of humor.
I was named after my aunt Barbara and not the doll. I stole her nickname. But it was a prediction of the future as I am a huge dolly fan.I have a collection of Barbies, My Scenes, Winx Clubs 2012, Obitsus, Disney Store and playline, Kumiks, and one lonely little Puki Puki. Eventually you will be meeting some of my dolls that I keep around me. I think they are just shards of my personality in tiny little bodies. Each of them represents something of me.
I am not new to the world of ooaking dolls but I have not done many ooaks and probably none that you have seen. I love to sew for my tiny ladies and gentlemen as well as spoiling them rotten.
When I am having a bad day they always seem able to make me smile. I am new to the world of Ball Jointed Dolls, but it would seem that my little Puki Puki will not be the last. I have a Resinsoul Ju in layaway at Denver Dolls. I will be getting her home as soon as I can but right now I am just dreaming about what she will be like. Since the little puki is so heavy next to the Kelly dolls I have a feeling she will not be a feather weight. Either way I can't wait to get her home and start sewing for her. I've already started drawing out ideas.
Well, that's me although reading over it I think it is more about my dolls. Here goes...
I will be 30 this summer, I love dolls, I work full time at a local college, I live in West Virginia USA, I am the middle child of three, I just got a new nephew in March (such a cutie pie) from my younger sister, I share my birthday with my paternal grandmother, Maternal Great Aunt, and Maternal Great Great Uncle, and I currently have two dogs.
