Body donor: Super Model! (articulated 25cm)

I don't know if these are sold in the US (except via ebay), but I thought you might still be interested in Simba's Super Model line. ~25cm, a few different skin tones, pretty good articulation ("inspired by" Fashionista/Liv) for a budget brand. I think I mentioned I was looking for an AA body to rebody my DeeDee head on, and Bel was a very good match.

(No pics of the original head since I tore it off pretty immediately.)

(She's still a bit too small for Skipper's clothes, but she wears them slightly better than my 25cm Obitsu.)

In her original clothes, next to a Fashionista:

Aaaaaaand of course there's the MH knock-off line Twilight Teens that uses the same body (except, you know, in gray or green). Not my cup of tea, but might be interesting for modding: http://simbatoys.de/en/brands__products/twilight_teens.shtml

(I don't know when Simba started making interesting dolls, but I certainly don't mind. :D)

Can you take a pic of her standing in the blue and gold outfit, I'd like to see how it fits. I'm looking to rebody the doll that came with it.

Oh yeah, I remembered someone asked about that, I'll try to get a better pic but for now I have this:

I'd say it's a bit too big. The pants are more like baggy pajamas and the top is still a bit big in the back. Fits slightly better than on the obitsu, but I think those two dolls are closer in size than skipper. Plus I looked just now and realized skipper's neck hole is probably too small to fit this body. :(

Ooh, I need some of these- love 25cm Obitsus greatly, but the lack of skintones is discouraging.

@ DollyKim Sorry I couldn't help you. They're close enough in size that it might have worked, but the neck hole would probably be a deal breaker anyway... Have you tried the new articulated Skipper bodies? Apparently you have to buy two and do a bit of surgery for a fully articulated body, but might be worth it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tru_fashionista_luv/7997257500/

@KatyaR Yeah, the skin tones are probably the main selling point vs. an Obitsu. As for posing abitity, there are some comparisons here: http://roxannesdolls.blogspot.se/2013/03/articulated-fashion-dolls-comparison.html

Knowing what not to use is always a help, and a neck hole isn't a huge issue. Performing surgery however would annoy me as I have a good dozen or so girls to work with.

If I come upon one I might give it a try any way, there are a couple of floater heads that could use any kind of body.
