No, I doubt anyone here thinks you got what you deserve, Evelien. The government, regardless of country, doesn't look at it's citizens as individuals with life issues and unexpected changes, but as a big pit from which it can extract money.

Know that we are all here for you, though!

Thank you so much for your kind messages <3

I got a letter about a payment plan. Typical, they first scare the **** out of you by requesting an amount of 4 figures within a month, only to send a second letter about other possibilities a few days later. Crazy. Anyway, I'll be able to pay back about €90 during two years. Sounds nice to me since we'll able to still, you know, live. Lol. I think I'm gonna ask if I can pay back more every now and then when I have more money to spend. I'd rather be done with it sooner.

No one deserves a situation/scare like that, least of all someone like you! *hugs*
€90 sounds feasible ... paying more if possible but not having to is what I would do. (Will do in a year, probably ... I applied for post-grad training and if I get in, I'll need a stipend to make it work - which will have to be paid back as soon as I get a job. Oh joy.)

Anyway, glad things seem to be working out for you!!!

Thank you ^^

Good news: thanks to the awesome Kiki and my sweet boyfriend I will even be able to get a Sweet Dolls Alice like I wanted!! :D

BUT: I will still be selling some dolls. However much I love them, some are still gonna have to go. I think it's for the best.

Evelien I am so sorry I didn't realise this sooner! I thought you knew you were able to pay in a few months time... OMG.. If I had realised you didn't know I would have told you right away!, when I heard about this whole thing!!
I don't know why but I always get these letters in the same order one week appart from eachother. Stupid and scary.
And I am sorry to say you have to pay the same amount every month. So no paying a bit more every now and then. Which sucks I know.

I actually did know that. I didn't know they'd let me pay this slowly though. I was afraid the monthly fee would be too much to handle, but it isn't.

We still want to pay asap so every spare penny we have goes to the IRS. we want to get it over with quick.

Oh fwew... I thought I could have saved you some heartache and sleepless night(s) if I had realised. One word of advice tho. Don't set the monthly payment to high. Your allowed to pay in that time and you never know what will happen in those months. Safe yourself the additional problems if for instance something breaks down.

What Lif said, Evelien.

So, if you can make monthly payments, does that mean you'll be able to keep your dolls? :hopeful:
