Thank you guys. He was unexpectedly mature about it, so I think he's had a lot of the same thinking. We got together when we were very young. I was eighteen, he was seventeen, but he'd already been independent for a couple of years, and I had never left home. We haven't been happy in a very long time. I tried to leave him once before, he tried to leave me, once before that. I know it's what I needed, and I know it's what I want, but it's still hard.

If you want to hang out some time, then yeah, definitely. How far are you from Avon? Usually I'm off on Tuesday, but one of my assistant managers went on vacation, so I have to work. But I can hang out after work any day, if you're closer to Avon than Fall River.

I'm about 45-ish minutes away from Avon, I think. Once I figure out what day I'm helping my parents with a project at their house I'll let you know and we can figure something out

FML - need to be in labs all day tomorrow... My room has developed a mysterious humming noise, that intermittently stops and sounds like a motor dying. It's at the right frequency that I can feel it, and it's loud enough that it sounds like it's coming from everywhere at once.

I've got a feeling that someone in the completely innaccessable flat above me is being an antisocial c*** ¬.¬ It's gone two in the morning

OMG, if the child outside in the golf course doensn't stop blowing that damn whistle I'm going to go out there and stuff it down his/her throat!!!

What the hell possess parents to give a child a frigging whistle????

Whistle-blowing should be reserved for people at work exposing fraud/crime/general naughtiness.

Kids with whistles in general are bad enough, but at a golf course? I've no real experience, but aren't people generally supposed to be more...quiet at those? Like for the concentration of other golfers?

I got in a car accident this morning. Some car four cars back didn't hit their breaks at a red light and plowed into another car at 55 miles an hour. So that car hit the next one that hit the next one that hit me, the first person at the light. I pulled up when I saw it happen, split second thinking on my part so I didn't get rear ended as bad, but the person that hit me still had some pretty serious damage to the front of their car. My jeep was basically fine. You wouldn't know I was in an accident.
Everyone was ok, far as I could tell. I'm ok, just have a really sore neck... It was not a super fun way to start the day.
