Finally get test Wiggle's body long enough but the bottom is too pointy, get the hips even but the waist is too thick and he needs bum cheeks.




Every day I have to do wet work is another day spent drying. Just have to remind myself that once this one is finished the others will go quickly because I'll have all the forms worked out. And I haven't even got to the shoulders, elbows, and knees yet but I'm in to a second package of clay.

I will say that the Plus is generally holding up.

A small but important triumph!

The final Wiggles will have their bodies done in their skivvies colors and the hips in black. There's enough movement in the design to point your fingers and do the twist, they aren't supposed to be Spider-Man, and it will look as if the shirt is always tucked in.

Next step is to work out the shoulders and make sure the hips sit right.

I'm attempting to make an introduction video for BJDAddicts on Youtube. It's turning out to be quite the process. First I had to try out the webcam on my laptop, which I quickly discovered doesn't make high enough quality video. Seriously, the eyes of the dolls aren't visible. So now I'm recording audio and I'm going to use pictures instead. I'm on attempt 4 of my introduction. I keep thinking it's getting too long or that I sound stupid.

So I am nearly done with my still life. I'm going to probably put another half hour or so into it. The sticks behind the cow aren't done yet.

I do doll reviews on youtube a lot. It can be a big challenge getting the right lighting to be able to see all the dolly's features. Just keep them short and sweet, sticking to the facts. That's what people seem to respond to!

That's what I'm trying to do. From being a viewer, I know that once it goes past five minutes, it starts to be hard to follow. I think I've found a way to get around the fact that I can't use my webcam for the video. I'm still going to use photos of my dolls but to represent me, I'll make a cartoon avatar.

Haha! Totally finished Es! Well. The MSC on his hands did something freakish so those will need redone at some point, and I have no idea where his eyes ran off to, but he's a sleeping head so you have to look to notice he doesn't have any in, but after two years the boy is put together!!! Pictures later.
