Nice eyes! How did you do the cheeks? Dremel? Does that work?

Thank you!! I'm glad you like them, too. I really think they livened her up to look more 'alive.'

For her slimmer cheeks, I learned a trick with my Volks Dollfie Dream non-eyehole heads---I needed anime male heads but they're not made by Volks, so I figured out a way to make the normal head mold work! I take a long craft needle and either button craft thread or embroidery floss, in 'fleshtone' color.
Then, I stick the needle through the ear, and out the other ear. I pull, until the head is 'slimmer' on one side, and then go through the ear I'm currently in (but through a new hole) back out to the opposing ear again. I pull taut again, and now both sides will 'slim' down. Pull until you're happy with the look, then go through the ear again and out the other, make sure you're even, then go back one more time and tie/knot off.

It works like a charm (with vinyl heads) and really makes a big difference! If I didn't try that, I'd be so unhappy with my DDs who are boys! :laughs:

Thanks again so much for liking her.

Oh I see, pretty good idea (simple and reversible too)!

I'm really not into the new assortment but with Howleen in there, it makes me wonder if this assortment is the girls body i.e. that the two new monsters are Howleen's size. It'd make sense "13 Wishes" Howleen is the only I'd get >.> and I have one but meh I do like the Genie's hands though o.o and Lagoona's shoes but yeah the assortment is not spectactular.

The Party version dolls of Wishes 13 Clawdeen/Draculara/Frankie is just okay. Clawdeen looks good but not enough to get her *but* she does look pretty. I'm trying to avoid taking in a new new doll x.x

Color Me creepy chamber O.O now that looks interesting...

I still haven't given up hope of the original Clawdeen+Howleen set to appear over here... I know they're available in the UK, and from photos I know the box has text in ALL THE LANGUAGES, so they were obviously intended for a wider European market. The dance class line has arrived, but I want orange hair dammit!

Offically, Howleen + Clawdeen is the only only set I've never seen in stores. Ever. I've seen all the other dolls and all the other version etc etc. *but* I've never seen those two together >.> If I haven't seen the online pics, I'd swear t wasn't released ever.

They were an exclusive release for Target, I think. I don't know who sells them in the UK (I don't think they've got Target there either), but that + the multi-language packaging got my hopes up for a collaboraton with a local chain or something... Well, at least I can dream. ;)

I managed to score that set at target. I only saw it that once and then never again, and I bought it just for Howleen lol. Wasn't a fan of that particular Clawdeen's hair.

You can catch the 2-pack on ebay, too. I think prices have calmed down a little bit, but I haven't been watching those auctions so I'm not sure. It might be worth a look if you really want Howleen.

Wow, I didn't realize they were that rare. I choose to interpret the multiple languages on the packaging as some sort of indication, but I guess there could be other reasons for it. But hope springs eternal, you know? :)

That was my original plan, but add intl. shipping and the prices get slightly ridiculous... :( Plus I'd feel pretty silly if the DO appear here later. I'll just have to decide whether I think it's worth it. Nothing wrong with Dance Class Howleen, but I really liked the original version.
