Even if he actually had an ear infection, you can cure it with OTC nasal spray with Xylitol in it.

Ugh shoulder pain is back. I had this about 2-3 weeks ago and had it checked out. Doctor said it was an inflammed tendon and prescribed me meds. When i finished the meds there was no pain w/c was good. I asked what caused it and he said it could be inflammed because of simple lifting which made sense coz of work. Now 2 days of work and its back. -_-

The doc decided he has an ear infection AND an upper respiratory infection, gave him a ridiculously expensive prescription (which my dad paid. I was not shelling out $200) which made him violently ill...and then he was fine when he came home last night. Perfect hearing (dad said he couldn't hear on his left side), no pain, just the last remnants of a flu we are all coming off of. /sigh, what a huge waste of time and money.

I forgot my wallet when I went to work today..... so, yeah. 8 and 1/2 hour shift and I didn't have anything to eat. (Because buying snacks is easier than packing stuff to take with me, of course... stupid lazy lamia needs to pack emergency rations in her work bag. T__T )
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

...Ew charity mugger trapped me... Feel guilty and angry - I've told you that I'm a student, and no I can't remember my account number and sort code, and I don't really have a steady source of income... And then you re-accost me again saying that if I've got my ID we can both go into the nearest branch of said bank and get the details, as long as he takes off his charity coat 1st - i.e. the bank would throw a f*cking hissy fit if he dragged me in there and it was obvious what was happening. Argh and now of course I feel horribly guilty, I save up for these damnably expensive dolls don't I? But those are budgeted for and any unexpected cost could mean bad things... I now feel bad about the cheap trousers that I bought (direly needed since my old pair are threadbare) and now feel inexplicably guilty that I didn't want to set up a near-empty account for a direct debit that I know will only increase monthly... :(

Vetinari - You have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. You choose what you do with your money. You set your priorities and if there comes a time when you have extra money that you want to donate, you research and give it somewhere that you know does the work you want it to. I tried doing the direct debit charity route once and got burned like hell. Not only did I discover the money was not being used in a way I wanted it to be used, but they started over charging me and refused to cancel until I had the bank involved. I never did get the unauthorized charges back. Only donate to places that you know for a fact you can trust and stand behind and just because they have a big "trusted" name doesn't mean that the funds will be appropriated in a way you want.

That guy was not doing his job right. That guy was probably a thief hiding behind the name of charity. That guy can go shove it.

Thanks - I really really hate it when those guys approach me, but I'm far too polite to tell them to go shove it - he even admitted that he was "employed" by the charity in question to collect money - i.e. that's where the direct debit would probably end up, not in the care-giving end... Just urgh - bad taste in mouth, and inevitable conscience tugging!

There are times out here it seems that every box and grocery store has a charity beggar outside every door wanting money for something, and it's nothing more than themselves. The only people you should give to outside of a store are the Salvation Army and girl scouts because they give you cookies.

If your conscience wants to make a monthly donation to feel better put money aside for a toy drive. Then you get to go shopping with it and do something good.

The last time I refused to talk to a charity beggar out on the streets, I got yelled at when I was walking away. I was flabbergasted. What a way to advertise your charity...

I taught myself to say NO. Always. Right now I need every € I make for myself. They'll always try to convince you by saying it'll only have to be a one time only thing or only €3 a month... I used to say yes every time and end up spending dozens of euros on charity when I was a poor college student. My principal is not to fall for ANYTHING anymore :P.
