I was in the living room sewing Amber's wig when my needle snapped in half. I can't find the other half.

Whenever I drop a needle on the carpet, I end up finding it a few days later..... with my foot. Pulling them out is never fun.

o.O Lucky enough my dad found it this afternoon on the floor near where I was working. It must have been on a blanket that was shaken. Glad that no one stepped on it >.<

My poor pup's leg:



She has gone in for her operation today. Her break has broken the skin, which complicates healing as there is a higher risk of infection. She's going to have a series of rings around her leg with pins going though, which she will have on for 3-6months. It's a long time for a doggie not to be able to run around especially a 9 month old puppy.

The good news is she is happy in herself. Her tail never stopped wagging and she licked everyone she could reach. She even wriggled out of the vet's arms and into ours when we saw her this morning! I'll know how the operation went later this evening..

Oh god the poor baby. I'm glad she's handling the situation well and I'll be keeping her in my thoughts. I'm sure the operation will go well.
