I'm converting the box from my Rescue specialty gum into a backpack for Finn. I should just need to cover it and attach ribbons for the straps.

*edit*: Well that took almost no time at all! The box is now covered with brown paper and stickers. I've decided to use some string for the straps instead of ribbons.

Due to a small polymer clay blocks sale yesterday I've stocked up to make 1/6 scale Doodlebops and I just saw a solution to do Deedee's hips. Because they always wear the same thing they'll be made with their clothes on so there's half the challenge. Ideas will be thought and sketches made but there's half a reroot head, a bigger air dry doll, and some core engineering to figure out first.

After a long time of waiting, and much complaining from Rachel, I finally got inspired to do her faceup. She is almost complete, but I am excited to show her off, so here she is!

Umm, Canadian Wiggles who chug a gallon of maple syrup before they go on stage? It's a kid's show with great performers that I got caught up in. It doesn't help that Rooney/Chad reminds me of Xavier's muse either.

At first I pondered doing them sift bodied with clay heads, hands, and feet like dollhouse dolls but I want to try jointed polymer clay ones.

I found some fleece and made a much better cloak for adventuring. Still need trim and a belt for the dress.

Crochet thread gage swatches. Got the interchangeable head hooks, got thread down to size 20, got time to do anything that isn't rerooting.

The next doll making step will be elbows and knees, then hands, feet, and a head.
