I don't know the customs regulations but I have purchased numerous dolls from Japan and various clothes and related items from suppliers in Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and I have yet to incur any customs charges.

@K2!: That's so great to know, thanks! Hopefully it'll be the same with me! And I think it would be really difficult to understand all of the customs regulations anyway? :\
