Finally got off my butt and worked on some doll stuff last night. 1/6th scale mags and accents for the kitchen so I can finish this photostory idea I had, then a dirty mag and some posters for my SD boys and some random props. Working on the interchangeable screen for the 1/6th tv/computer then every scale will have their own instead of all stealing Aisling's. I also had the brilliant idea of sculpting a new neck peg for one of my ancient Barbies and it is currently drying before getting baked, so we'll see how it works out. *fingers crossed*

Acrylic on canvas...work in progress.

Happy clouds and happy trees next...and didn't you know that fir trees all have 500 branches? I'll have to get a couple of different brushes, though, for the clouds. I don't have one that I want to use to pull the paint.

P.S. These are all going in the Nutthouse. ;D

I am sorting doll stuff. Cordie gets first dibs-I am trying things on her and in her spaces. Then I am going to sort by sizes and make a box for each doll and then duplicates will go away. Sorting all your doll stuff is a project-right?

What am I working on?

1. Outfit for my BBB Ariel. I have the pre-gathered satin ribbon and some more lace. I've figured out how I want her corset dress to lace up but I'm just not motivated enough to finish it at the moment.

2. Bought five patterns for 1/6 dolls that I need to scale up for 1/4. Haven't gotten around to it yet as I've run out of power supplies at the computer. My turntable is taking up the last USB port, too. I think I'll have to buy yet another USB port with more docks. 8 just isn't enough. Thank goodness the printer is wireless!

3. I'm turning the girls house into an art studio. I also need to clean a corner of the basement by tossing some shelves that have been toasted due to the last heavy rain we had. I ended up with four inches of water in the basement living room (thankfully, the boys' rooms stayed dry but the living room and laundry room were under water). I need to get some cheap shelving to replace those (bachelor shelves anyone? boards and heavy bricks) and then add another table so the girls and my two boys can have another room. I'm getting tired of moving furniture around from a heavy plastic storage bin to the table I'm currently using.

Then there's this :

A sketch, and two mixed media paintings, one on water color paper and the other on letter card stock. I need to spray the paintings with Winsor and Newton fixative and then find frames for them. I'm not sure if they'll go in the girls' art studio or if I'll hang them up in the house somewhere or put them in my etsy shop.

I like your sketches and paintings, especially the autumn tree.
