Hmmmmm, I know exactly where my mom's china is packed away in the basement. Perhaps instead of my Pfaltzgraff we should use the china. We haven't done that in a while.

We are supposed to have storms throughout the day, so it looks like there will be no outings. Although I know my husband has ever intention of seeing Le Mis, storm or no storm!

I get to open one present on Christmas eve along with my BFF who spends it with us. Then later in the evening I might get to open another present and on Christmas Day we go to my aunt's house up in the city for dinner and presents. My mom's side of the family is Puerto Rican so all the food is spanish food, old traditional food we've had for god knows how long. Roast pork, rice and chick pea's, fried green banana's (mmm) all sorts of good stuff. My aunt also has a real pine Christmas tree every year. We have dinner early in the day (around 1 PM) because my cousin in law is a cop and he has to work Christmas.

Well, it rained so no shooting this year. Despite being indoors all day we had a great time. Played games, ate a ridiculous amount of food, took a nap, ate more food. Ha! T'was a day of feasting!! My sister has started a new tradition; my niece makes homemade ornaments to give as gifts. This year she made ball ornaments filled with glitter and they have her little hand-print on them. Green paint + kid... that had to be fun! :-p

Every Christmas Eve, we watch "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" (the original Chuck Jones cartoon) and "The Year Without A Santa Claus" back to back. Then we get into our Christmas stockings at the stroke of midnight, saving the presents for Christmas morning.

There was Christmas movie watching, gift exchanging, and eating of my moms cheesy potatoes that are always so omg delicious! And it was as always spent up in MN.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

OMG, I so miss watching the animated Grinch. Family channel kept running the live action movie and I couldn't get through more than the first fifteen minutes of it >< HORRIBLE!!!!

The "kids" (my two younger brothers and I, all teenagers) got to open one present on Christmas Eve and we watched some Christmas specials. Then we got up at 5 sharp on Christmas (I got wakeup duty, so I gave both my parents coffee to help them up) and went through our stockings before opening presents. Lots of fun was had by all. :)
