My baby dragon

Postby DollyKim » Thu Dec 20, 2012 4:50 pm

Was there a mold name for the baby Dollzone dragon?

The very start of the paint job. The color scheme comes from the Ocean Breeze colors not feeling right, some pink still left on the horns, and a black and red yarn I have called Lava that looks rather neat.

Eventually it should have a sea horse/dragon head.Image

Dollzone Chinese Dragon (Boy or Girl - no difference in sculpt per gender). Can't wait to see what you do with it! n_n

The white mark on the tail part on the right is a reflection. Might or might not get finished, this effect takes time to dry.

Thanks everyone :) I hope the sealer I use holds up enough. Testors spray over all the painted parts. If it comes off I saw a neat idea to do one of these up like a koi.

I'm waiting for heads to dry. I started a sea horse/dragon and a human shaped one to see which works out.

*Well that paint job didn't last, was stringing and scratched the heck out of it. We're going for koi fish now, the sea horse/dragon head is still a possibility. Can't learn what won't work some times until you do it.

Gonna keep working on the head and thinking where to go next. I like it enough, just not what I was planning.

Aww... I really liked the paint job you had done. :( But still looking good!

P.S. For some reason looking at the butt right above the koi/dragon parts made me laugh. Wow, I'm so immature.

Yeah, the red wasn't going to stick but the rest of it did, especially the effects on the fins. Right now it's just hanging out while I ponder where to go next. I might try a different kind of pigment but I need to Twinkle Think it all through.
