Long absence and pleasent suprises

So, Long story short, I've been on the road or working constantly for the last month or so. However this means also that My girl has been getting neglected. Shes been put away, tucked in a box with her satin body pillow in her Pjs for weeks now. I recently had a new love interest come by to check out some stuff i've been working on, and he inadvertantly asked about my girl after seeing her peeking out of her box. His reaction was pretty awesome, instead of being creeped out, he was like "WOW, she is soo cool! I've heard about those but never actually seen one. So I brought her out and we talked about BJDs for a bit. Later We were out and about and he called me over to the christmas aisle in walgreens and pointed out some christmas ornaments that were animated record players with music. He asked if It was the right size for my girl and offered to buy it for her * squee* I'll post pictures soon. I've literally been working on this contract nonstop. So anyway, I havent abandoned the hobby or you guys. I feel bad for having her packed away, but short of letting her go with me, the safest place for her in put away, while i'm gone.

Maybe start with... 'I'd like to take some photos of her at _________... would you mind?' Then it seems like you have a purpose. If he gets comfortable with that, then it can expand to hauling them all over the place. ^___^ I usually don't take mine out if I'm alone, but with Kiki... we've gone to the movies, museums, parks, restaurants... the staff only sections of Castillo Serallés in Ponce, Puerto Rico (the lady running the place was fascinated by Omi and Nagi and let us go take pictures where they DON'T let tourists take pictures!). You'll get looks, but I get looks if I cosplay too... you either end up hiding or get over it.

I hear you. It's so difficult to find someone who can at least accept your love for bjds, let alone find one that finds them to be awesome.
