Barbie handmade peasant clothes

Not everyone in the kingdom can be nobility. Hence, peasants! (Except the middle Courtney; she's there because her dress is also handmade.)
The other day my laptop had a problem so I booted my old laptop and found this photo. I apologise for the poor photo quality, but like most of my dolls these are in storage.

The two on the ends were castle guards, but the king's colours are sanguine and gold, so mayhap they guard a different castle. -_^ The Courtney in the blue dress, aka Sylvie, was my favourite doll because of her sweet face.

I adore these!!! They should make a show just about peasants...or make it like Upstairs/Downstairs...that would be awesome.

Ooh, I remember making "peasant clothes" for my barbies as a kid. It was a good excuse for using mismatched fabrics and large stitches... These look better and a tad more realistic, though! I particularly like the green dress on the little girl on the right.

Thank you both! The little girl in the green dress was supposed to be a princess, that's why her dress is more detailed, but the material didn't look rich enough so she's been recast as a peasant, for now. KitKat, I'd watch that show too. When a friend and I used to play dress-up she would be a princess and I'd be her servant. :}

Oh, these are really nice. I'm glad to see peasant clothes. These remind me of Robin Hood's people in the forest.
