I am a total Obitsu junkie! I had to put in my 2 cents here. I have seven of the big Obitsu's ( 2 60cm ball joint style Haruka's, a 3-part Obitsu boy with older joints, a three part Obitsu Gretel girl with older joints, a two part Haruka with older joints (Haruka fullset!!), a 55cm Hensel - he has ball joints, and a 50cm standard with a Haruka head,) It's the Haruka love at my house!

In my opinion, girl Gretel heads look best on DD2 bodies. For some reason the proportions just fit. I love the Obitsu 60cm ball joint torso and chest - it's my favorite (see Hazel). However I also really love the oldstyle joints for the poses. And don't forget - Obitsu have option hands!

If you want Kitty ears that can be used without modding your doll, my husband makes them and Junkyspot sells them! They come in small, medium and fox. The smalls are usually used on MSD, and the medium on SD, however they can work on anyone!

I was fortunate enough to see K2's lovely ladies in person, and they are awesome!!! You do want one like his, really. The Japan only dolls have awesome skins. Personally I do think all the 50cm dolls I have seen are wonderful, and I wouldn't trade Peri for anyone else, but those Yamato dolls are unbelievable!

The 50cm dolls wear Goodreau MSD clothes very well except for the shoes.

Hey Zirc, for the uneducated-re-american-bjd crowd like me - what qualifies as a Goodreau MSD? Is Ellowynn one of those? Just asking as I'm never sure if those patterns will fit my dolls or not so I've shied away from buying a few I'd like.

Goodreau is a brand name. Ellowynn is made by Robert Tonner. I am sure the patterns would fit with a few adjustments. The clothes certainly do!

Hello again everyone...sorry for long time/no see. We had storms, power outages and then a weekend away so there was little online time.

:)

I did get the DDy dolly Miu from the Volks lottery and she ships in October and am very excited about her. But after all of our conversations here, I am determined to find a way to get the 50cm Megu. So I am going through my current dolly family to see who can be sold for "the cause" . Hubby will be getting a Gretel for sure, so lots more larger ladies to be seen here at the Sanctuary soon!

And I collect Ellowynes, so if anyone has ??? just ask. I have dozens.

Why don't Goodreau shoes fit? Are they too small or big? I got a pair on my Volks SDC girl, but they won't fit on my Dream of Doll's feet! I was shocked since I though Dream of Dolls feet would be the smallest, but it seems they're too wide.
