I wouldn't know, being a philistine follower of vinyl polymers.

Hmmm, Omi was definitely 'kissed' by something... though, it may have had cloven hooves, horns, and had something to do with fire and/or brimstone? That's an angel, right?

 Oh, now I understand. Volks dolls cost so much because they come with souls from angels above. ;)

And ABS is the most awesome polymer of all because it's THREE plastics in one!

YaY! I made a WIN! thread. Even though the win came from those who replied, it's still a good thing.

And Chae-ri wants to expand on her views on what makes an ABJD. Since I suck at photography, i actually made a Poser figure that looks like Ri-ri. The oufit she's wearing in the slideshow is one I actually made her but have not yet photographed. (The crossbone heart is her symbol, sparklepunk that she is.)

Image

Please understand that neither Ri-ri nor I are calling all BJD owners snobs. It's just that, well...if your doll doesn't cost more than the gross national product of a small third-world country, some BJD owners tend to look down on you...

I just wanted to let you all know that I approve of this thread even though I have no witty comment to add to it.
