Freya's here... I hate her already.

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

What size are they and what brand? I mean, if they are 16mms they SHOULD fit perfectly. 18mm should be snug.

You removed the top peg, huh? Maybe you could add magnets in it's place? Som of the big BJDs have that.

Mine didn't fit together properly when it came, just like most. I over shaved the top one so I'll need to coat it with glue to to snug it up but it also has a problem with the bottom where it pops open when the head is moved. She's a beautiful doll and I love her but she DOES have issues. I'm kind of hoping someone will find a solution.

The eyes I got for her were 16mm Hujoo eyes. They gapped around the edges when I put them in her.The glass eyes I put in her are also 16mm, but have slightly wider "whites" than the acrylic eyes.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

The 16mm cat eyes I got for my Freya are also too small, she she's wearing a pair of 16mm full round acrylics that also have more white to them. The fit and look fine, but I really wanted those green cat eyes to work.

I have green cat eyes in mine and yes, you can see a bit of a gap on the outer edges, but not enough to show unless you are holding it and looking right at them. Seriously, mine are sitting on my coffee table trying to convince me to drop everything and work on them - and while they are doing that I never ever notice the gap. Both have the Hujoo cat eyes. Zircon used those eyes on hers, and if you look at the photos you see no gaps. To me it's a non-issue and I'm thrilled with both of my kitty girls :)

I haven't had very much luck with liking my hujoos, I was afraid to get a kitty too. (that and I thought they were too much eek)

I'm sorry you haven't bonded with her, I always hate that.

Hmm. Even though they have that lovely no-putty system, I wonder if some white putty would help for people who hate hate HATE the gap.

I haven't tried the cat eyes with putty, but I did pull out the Hujoo eye holder-thingy and used putty (okay, Mack's earplugs) on the brown eyes that she is wearing now.
