Mermaid-Ohki!!

I was really lucky and found this Peapod Mermaid tail for 40% off list price! And it's PINK!! So here it is on Ryo-ohki. She isn't actually going to be a mermaid permanently, but I wanted to play with the tail and she was the only doll it currently works on.





The Peapod tail as fantastic, so posable! I didn't care for their original pictures, but having seen one in person I was hooked. I have had it on the back burner of dollieh desires for a while now. Getting it cheaper was a major plus! Eventually I play to have a dedicated mermaid, but for now I will just enjoy Mermaid-Ohki!

The body is a tan Dollzone BB girl, the head is a custom sculpt from my husband. Body from Junkyspot.

She's so cute!! She works really well as a little mermaid actually ^^. I love the tail, too, but I just have a huge weak spot for mermaids. I'm wondering though.. how the bleep do you go about stringing that??

Actually, the tail came pre-strung. I just had to unhook Ryo-ohki, remove her legs, and substitute the tail. The string runs down the tail, through the fins, and then back up the tail. Easy!
