Who would you recomend for face ups?

I have 2 dolls that need face ups, one a Volks Isao which I would like his original face up restored to the closest possible likeness ( right now he looks way different) to his default make up.


and a Elf Doll Soah that I would like to have a clean natural face up that photographs well.

I only specify since some artists do not like to to have to do things that already have been done, some not all.

I have been looking on other doll forums but to be honest there are so many new people out there and all the old ones are either filled up or way expensive now....

Who have you had a good experience with for your resin bjds?

Well, theres a few faceup artists around - my money is on Kikichan, though - I've heard a lot of good things about her, and I see a lot of her faceups - their all pretty damn awesome! You can PM/ask her if she'd be willing to restore an old faceup

Kikichan and arrowchild are the two artists I've commissioned the most -- They're both fast and easy to communicate with and affordable. Their styles are different, of course, so you should look at their past work (check Junkyspot's "commissions" section also, that may have more photos) to see what their work looks like. (My current avatar is a Soom Heliot with a kikichan face-up).

Resu Your second pic is something close to the default face up for Isao.Its really nice too.

Kiki, always...just hope that you can get her on a good day (meaning one where she's not already swamped)! I don't think I could trust my dolls to anyone else. I just tell her mostly what I want and then say 'ask the doll, he/she knows best...' and every time I'm on tenterhooks and every time I'm astounded by how RIGHT what I get back is. No insult intended to any other face-up artists, but, well...Kiki. Just that.

Kiki-chan78 is the only one I've ever had touch my boys. Nagi's on his third face-up, Momiji just got his second. Everyone's face is different and really expresses their personality.

I like *Meee* she is on doa. I have never used her as I do my own but my daughter has considered using her and she is not very expensive i think like $40 if i remember.
