Hujoo YoMi Fullset is Home! (Box Opening)

Postby Nunubit » Mon Jun 18, 2012 1:35 pm

She arrived this morning! I never liked the Mimi fullsets, so I didn't think much of it, but when I saw the YoMi fullset I finally saw how nice it could look. More of a cute tomboy than a girly girl. Anyway, here is the box opening! Sorry for the crappy pictures, the only camera I have is an iPod Touch.

Image
The box was covered in tape, but not to the point it was a pain to open (I'm looking at you, Junkyspot packages), it opened very easily!

Image
One of my cats, Crystal, inspected the package before I opened it, just in case it was actually a trap!

Image
The Hujoo box itself is wrapped in bubble wrap, but what is this on the top...?

Image
Oh gosh, they sent me a tiny hat, and two bears! Plus three stickers, of Berry, Wings, and Hujoo.

Image
My other kitty, Sapphire, checking out the empty box.

Image
YoMi in her nice box! She seems to have popped out of the little body holder at some point, but she is still fully dressed.

Image
Both kitties are now checking everything out. Crystal looks like she doesn't trust the package still.

Image
YoMi Out of the box, with the itty bitty hat on her head.

Image
Wha- Crystal what are you doing, those are stickers.

Image
Bad Crystal, no YoMi for you!

Image
Aaaanyway, after saving YoMi from the cat, I can share some of the very nice details of her outfit. This is a rubber/faux leather stamp thing on her hat, it says "GOLF (star star star) THE ACTIVE FASHION MEN'S CLASSIC"

Image
On the other side of the hat, there is an actual pocket with flap. It seems that every pocket on this outfit is an actual pocket. The hat is also fully lined.

Image
This is the inside of the jacket, it isn't fully lined, but it seems to have an actual zipper. Haven't really been able to zip it up, but I haven't tried very hard.

Image
On the outside, there are two pockets, which you can actually open and put stuff in, as long as they are very very tiny objects.

Image
Final image, this is the pants pocket, that is also a real pocket. In the front, there is a snap and velcro to keep it on. She also has belt loops on her pants.

I didn't take any pictures of the goggles, but they are fully seperate and she can actually wear them. If you put the middle over her nose, they actually look like they were made for her. Also, the wig she came with is much nicer than I thought it was going to be, the company pictures made it look thinner than it actually was.

Also, her faceup is amazing, I absolutely love it. Her eyes are very nice too, but I keep finding dust on them.

I decided to keep her name of "YoMi" but make it a short nickname of her actual name "Yolanda Mimi".

I hope I did this box opening right, let me know if I should shrink the images more.

YoMi has claimed the pin cushion chair and guitar.

She also seems to have made friends with Erie and Verie, which is nice. I am also having lots of problems with her arms since I can't see her joint because of the jacket. But now I have the image of her running around pretending to be an air plane because of it.

She looks super cute! Grats on your new girl! <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I see they're hosted on Dropbox... I have Dropbox installed on my laptop and I can see them. Perhaps that's it...

Hm, I dunno. Usually you don't need dropbox to see the pictures. I'm not sure what to do. :?
