And correction - the lighter brown is raw sienna not vandyke. I was thinking of my colored pencils, sorry about that. I wish you the best of luck! Can't wait to see pics!

I think it looks really good sixoclock, the colors are great. Black can sometimes be very startleing against the resin, so your choices, I think, are better. They are strong without being overbearing. Really nice line work too, nice and clean.
