A new outfit for Marie (Pullip)

I started out watching Queen of the Damned (I love the actor who plays Lestat!). Then wound up watching Dracula 2000, which was really cool. Dracula, well, I won't say it if someone wants to watch it. Good movie. I was surprised. Then I watched Interview with the Vampire. Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise? Seriously? I saw it years ago in the theater when it first came out in '94. I feel the same way now that I did then. Johnny Depp would have made a MUCH better Lestat. I kinda purred when I saw a young Antonio Banderas, though. *hubba hubba* He's hot.

So, I'm not really finished with the dress, yet. There's something missing in the front and the doll stand makes it kinda poofy. I was at Joann's Fabrics earlier today with my husband and bought a bunch of things, mostly from the dollar bins and the remnant bins. I couldn't find a jeweled anything to put there and I need to add a cameo to her neckline with a pink satin bow. I figured three movies were enough tonight.

Oh, and Barbie shoes (most of them) are a perfect fit for her feet. I like the ones from the Fashionista clothing packs. (My little Hujoo took the clothes and Marie gets the shoes.)

I like how you did the sleeves. :) Very nice dress!

I'm really loving your pullip! I was contemplating getting one for a while now, but you pretty much pushed me over. haha

Thanks everyone! ;D I thought that the bodice would give me a heart attack, though. I'm not used to sewing so tiny!!!

Kittyasaurus: I didn't want to cut out any sleeves so I just used lace! I was being lazy! :) Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I'm thinking of getting another Pullip. They go REALLY well with my 24cm Hujoo girls.

I hate cutting out and sewing sleeves on this scale. It's a good trick!

Evelien : I scare my teenagers when I sew...and they learn more cuss words from me than from the kids at school. :/

Kittasauras : I hate sleeves on 1:6 scale myself. Lace was so much easier. I was about ready to have a nervous breakdown by the time I got to the sleeves.

Chrystal : Thank you! I probably won't get to even try to finish it until after next week, sadly.

That's fine! As long as we get to see the finished product some time.
