Astrid's new look? (RS Bei)

Postby famedglory » Thu Apr 12, 2012 9:29 am

Astrid has until very recently been happy in her pink wig. Then this wig arrived by mistake and she refuses to give it up. She seems to have an ongoing style crisis. Her identity is stable, just not her look, so I'm not really sure what's going on with this girl, but I'm sure she'll figure it out soon.

My Clover is the same way. She gets bored with her eye color very easily. (and also her wig color, but less often than the eyes.)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

My Angel is the same, too. The personality remains the same but she wants a different hair style every now and then.

We exist to make our dolliehs happy. lol!

Very cute! She has kind of a little devilish look to her. I like her "playground" , lol!
Besides- don't you get tired of wearing your hair the same way all the time? All of my dolls have at least two wigs.

She's well behaved like 90% of the time, but that other 10% she's full of well intended mischief. I spent a long time quickly cycling through hair cuts/colors myself. Way back in highschool my best friend's dad (who saw me literally every third day) was fond of saying that he never knew what I was going to look like when I showed up. It's such a shame it's hard finding wigs that fit her right, otherwise I probably wouldn't have such a problem with ordering her extra wigs.

I like her in that wig, and her outfit is adorable.
Cirquemom's right. Dolliehs like change.
One way I keep myself from going overboard (assuming I really do keep myself from going overboard. There seems to be some disagreement about that) is by seeing my dolls in new ways. For instance, when I was looking at Googley's beautiful
Iple House Asa, whom I could never afford, and at Antique Lilac's Asa, I thought, "Which of my dolls is most like her?" I think it's my Dollndoll Shade, Bianca. They aren't that much alike, but enough alike (especially the way I painted Bianca's mouth) for me to think about giving her a new wig, new outfit, etc.
Or those exquisite Soom faeries. I can't afford one now that I'm on unemployment, so I got an Obitsu elf from JS, and I'm making her faerie clothes.
