I like both plastic and porcelain thank you. My lovely porcelain dolls would not thank you for the insult to them. ;P While it is true that playing with plastic is less risky my porcelains get their fair share of fun too. I have a few porcelains, mostly lady dolls, and I change their clothes and stuff. Porcelain and china were used for hundreds of years for dolls. So was wax believe it or not. Actually as doll materials go they tend to outlast plastic by quite a lot of time. They will get old, sometimes go brownish, maybe even crackle a bit but unless you drop a porcelain doll it will still be around long after a plastic one has become a pile of goo. Composite, plastic, and vinyl dolls they just disintegrate over time. They may last for a long while but actually not as long as porcelain does.

I was afraid to open this for fear of drama. Instead of drama there were sporks. There were many, many, many shouts for sporks.

That's why you need to get your Obitsus spayed or neutered. If you don't there will eventually be an epidemic of bitty bitsus.

The horror! The horror!

Elidor needs SPORKS!!

Can mention of plastics be complete without Bakelite? NO, I think not! And I love all dolls - whatever materials they come in. I actually have one made out of Reindeer horns.
