Not sure if it helps, but Dutch customs have the right to hold a package for a month max when it enters the Netherlands from outside the EU. I've never had this happen yet though. Usually the package takes about a week to get from the US or Asia to the Netherlands, then it's held by Dutch customs for about two weeks. At least, from my experience. Although I must say, the past few packages (that WERE charged) spent a week in customs max! ^^

Does a doll coming from Canada come in any faster than else where?

My experience with post from Canada is that it usually takes 7 to 10 days. That doesn't seem to have changed after Customs got so uptight.

I thought usps priority mail would be faster but my doll is still stuck in custom in CA. Arrrggg! I talked with USPS and they sent me to CBP. I then e-mailed CBP but I haven't heard back from them. I hope my doll isn't lost. It's almost been 2 weeks. Arrggg!

Actually my experience to and from Canada is that it is worse than the UK. It has taken up to a month to get a package through Canadian customs (either way) and an "overnight" letter has vanished twice, and taken 7 days twice.
