This was done with the Wavy Hair braid in a bag from the craft store. You need 7 pieces of braid to do a Monster's head, that is one braid cut in 7 pieces or use more braids for longer hair. I used 2 braids cut in to 12" pieces, all 5 from one and 1 and 1/2 from another. The plugs are thin, it's the texture that makes it look big.

The first of 4 that need redoing. No name for her yet. Her lips were painted black, she started as the TRU exclusive Fearleader.

amazing job! I wish i had the patience for rerooting. I would love to do some monster mashing. THeir face sculpts are so lovely.

It's rather meditative for me, and with my ADD meditation doesn't happen. I'll put in an hour in the morning while watching TV or longer when I toss a movie in. I always give myself a week to get any Monster done and the feeling of a job well done is worth the time.

so 7 hours? it takes me longer ......i might be doing something wrong tho. Still the idea of making hair any color i want is very tempting. I should look into wig making. that seems to go faster with wefts and such.

I never time it and it takes as long as it needs to. I'd rather go at an easy going pace and not wear my hands out.
If you go with DollyHair.com use the Gene size guide or get 2 of the 38" hanks to make sure you have enough. Better to have too much than too little.

Cotton, done with the Wavy Hair like Wednesday but much thinner plugs, wanted to experiment, works with the white hair. Her scar, crooked eyebrows, and touch of yellow above her right eye are quality control at it's finest.
