Haha, sounds like what happened to me when I found the second hand Iplehouse Ryan that's on his way to me... I never thought I'd want a boy doll - I always said I'd never get one lol - until I found him. Actually... I think I started wanting a boy doll when I saw a box opening for an Angelsdoll Kloze right here on the DS - I forget who posted it, forgive me - but I wanted a muscular one since most MSD boys are so boyish. Aw, that's the new Ryan Ken. He's a cutie. I haven't seen him much around here as yet unfortunately. The only two I've seen had bad hair cuts and messed up face paint. But I love his shirt. $5 I'd have done him too even if it meant spending the laundry quarters, laugh. Bendy hands, dark hair, and a cool shirt? What's not to like?

I wouldn't feel so bad if I wasn't already short of money... My manager shorted me on hours at work the same week my cell phone bill was due... so, yeah. Didn't have a lot of cash to spare and spent 5 bucks on a doll anyway...

Fionan got a tea kettle the other day and today Aria got a little paint easel as a 'sorry the wig failed' gift. No, she's not much of an artist, but now she can lord it over the other dollies that she has more stuff than them again. Little brat.

You need to hit a mall and check out the men's clothes if you think that's bad, laugh. Just about every decorated shirt I see has stuff like that on it now. You can still find plain shirts too but the whole curly screen print thing has really taken over the men's section in most stores now. Every once in a while you see a cool dark t-shirt with a skull or something but mostly it looks a lot like women's section. The kids sections are even more crazy. I kind of like it sometimes, because I tend to like things that are rather fantasy and fable oriented but lately you walk into the girl's section in most places and you'd swear you'd been picked up and transported to Baum's Oz. Leggings with Stripes in wild fairy tale combos, punk fairy princess get ups, sparkly camo skirts and messenger bags, cutey Lolita goth ensembles, boldly defiant t-shirt slogans, it's totally absurd what they want kids to dress in these days. It all makes Barbie Fashionista clothes look tame by comparison.

I was bad.

I had gotten a Delf Zuzu Fenny as a girl for my DZ fox, but she turned out to be twice his size (but so adorable I don't care, she can hang with the Mushroom Peddler cuties). So I have been hunting for another 15 cm fox and discovered Denver Doll had one of the smaller Pipos foxes in stock...at the price I wanted to pay. Just arrived Saturday, so cute and just perfect. Now I just need to paint and clothe the two of them.

I finally gave in... and bought a Kemper wig. Lee is in desperate need of a not-fur not-fluffy wig. And also a pair of boots since he can't keep borrowing Taka's shoes forever. And the price was awesome; less than $20 for both!

Also, those little foxes sound adorable victoaivictrix. I can't wait until you post pictures! n_n
