Today is very rainy and windy. :( It's been raining since early morning. I went for a walk with my dog during midday and it was just a bit raining but when we went for a second walk more than hour ago, the weather was so bad that we lasted for only 5 minutes or so. :(

Our first real snow of the season was yesterday.

There's nothing like the joy of driving to work when the road suddenly disappears and trucks are spinning circles in front of you. Everything was clear when I left my home and then I was attempting to drive through 3 inches with no plows or salt in sight.

I am now officially ready for spring to arrive. Snow is pretty in photos, but I hate it in real life.

By the weekend it will be near 50 again.

Up here in Colorado we had some pretty serious snow storms not long ago. I couldn't even leave the house for a couple of days. We ended up with about three feet of snow...
and then today...it hit almost 70 degrees! It was hot!
We are expecting snow on Saturday!

Yesterday morning around 5 am my boyfriend and I were woken up by a horrible noise... I'm not sure what the right word is in English - hail? - but big chunks of ice were beating into our bedroom windows as if they were licensed to kill. It really sounded like our windows would break. Bah. Really scary for a second.

Hail is the term, yes. Pellets of ice that come down like rain that can be anywhere from the size of a grain of rice, to as large as a softball.

Yep, that's what it was. I was terrified the windows would break and jumped into my boyfriend's arms like a little baby lol. I'm such a wuss. But we did check all the windows to make sure no hail could come in, it sounded pretty hazardous lol.

That sounds horrible. :/ Winter appeared in Lithuania as well. Yesterday when I woke up I found out that there's snow outside. The weather was too windy to take my dolls outside for photoshoot, though. Also, few days ago seagulls have appeared. They are common sight during spring and summer but not during winter. Today I managed to take some photos of them.

Weather has been weird all over New York State. It's barely snowed here, and it still has yet to snow in NYC. We had a blizzard in October where I go to school but after that not a single flake. The pond froze a couple times, but never completely over. The ducks that live there stayed until I left, and as far as I know they're still there.

Apart from the hail, we haven't had *any* signs yet that Winter is here... temperatures are much higher than usual and we're just having a lot of rain... It's a bit 'autumnish'...

Newsflash: even though I was hoping we'd skip Winter altogether, temperates will finally drop this weekend. It'll get frosty! I hope it won't be too bad but *some* snow would be nice, for a doll photoshoot I've been wanting to do for like a year!!
