Gloom Beach Frankie repaint

Postby mentalshoc » Sat Dec 31, 2011 5:10 pm

Recently i purchased my second monster- a gloom beach Frankie.
I found her cheap on ebay, and she arrived in three days. Stoked! :D

Here is a little before, during, and after of her new face up.
She also got a hair cut, and a handmade outfit.

Oh, lovely!! This softer look really suits her! I think it's so cool that you can still see who she is! Very well done :)

She looks awesome!

How did you remove the 'stitches' on the body? I read somewhere that someone tried acetone, but it melted the plastic or something weird like that.

I also used acetone, but i used it very quickly, and did MANY many rinses under water in between until it came clean : ) I think the key really is to use a good amount, use it quickly, and remove it as fast as possible. As well as not using too much pressure when you are rubbing with the acetone, it reallllyyy wanted to eat away at the plastic. But it works! : D
