Oh, that would be awesome! I collect both rooted and hair plastic hair, and I don't mind having two or three of the same either haha, but it's a really specific face I'm looking for.

YES to this face:

NO to these faces:

Do you see the difference?
The bodies are different too. The bodies that come with the dolliehs I like, have knees and feet that point to the middle, "X legs" as we call them in Holland. ALL the other Pollys have straight legs. :)

Thanks for explaining the word derpy to me btw ^^

A closer look at the five girls I own now (I already had the girl with the red rooted hair):

Since I got some sets with loads of clothing and accessories too, I redressed them all into outfits I liked better:

I don't like those older faces either. The eyes on the newest ones seem to me somewhere between the older and the ones they had before these new ones.

Yeah.... Ugh. Those are so not-cute :(

I'm as happy as a little kid can be with a new toy... My five Pollys are lying next to my laptop and I keep fondling with them. They're just so adorable!!!

By the way, I'm actually starting to like the hard plastic hair more than the rooted fiber hair. The rooted hair isn't of a very high quality and it gets really messy even if I comb it all the time.

You could always repaint the eyes if you don't like them.

!!! I was just thinking of doing a Polly custom/repaint when I went to bed last night! Lol! I've never done that though, not sure if I'd be any good. And I'd only do that if the new dolls have the same bodies as the Polly dolls that I love.

OR I could repaint a current Polly, because I've got so many coming my way that there's gonna be doubles in my collection :P

It looks like the new bodies are staying, since it is just the face that is changing but practicing on one with the eyes you like might make it easier if you use the original eyes as a guide.

Too bad their face shape seems to be different too...

- Cross-posted from the 'Your latest buys'-topic -

I received my first three Polly Pocket online buys today, one from a company (€1 each!!) and two second hand through Marktplaats. One lady sold me the blonde rooted Polly that comes with the house, so yay, I now have her!

Okay, here's some pictures... You don't need to tell me I'm crazy, I already know XD. This is all that came today:
