I HATE FED EX

Grey I can guarantee you he made no attempt to deliver, because this happened to me, not once, but three times, twice with the same damn package. I called up FedEx and bitched them out royally. Turns out some of the drivers, when they are running behind, make out a bunch of tags in advance and do "ninja-runs" with them, pulling up to the house, running up, slapping the tag on and running off again. I was in the same position as you, this was a time-critical galley-proof and I was camped out in the living room, waiting. During the minute it took me to go to the bathroom, he made the ninja-run and I actually saw him pulling out of my driveway, having NOT knocked on the door. Better believe the FedEx complaint office got an earful from me.

Oh mine couldn't even be bothered to make tags - wednesday or today!!! And I know he didn't try I mean, I'm sittig three feet from my front door - unless he knocks like an arthritic grandma there is no way in hell I didn't hear.

And oh joy - I just found out that they will be delivering until 11pm tonight!!! So I can't even leave for anything - I've wasted an entire day over this and I'm not happy. When I called in to check on how late they deliver the lady told me "they'll deliver tomorrow" and I flat out told her I had no intention of wasting Xmas eve waiting for something I should have received today!

7pm and I'm still waiting.

My regular mail-lady is amazing and delivers at about the same time everyday. One time her jeep overheated in front of our house and she needed a bottle of water. We gladly gave her whatever she needed. Two or some days later we got a very cute thank you card from her! :3

As for UPS I never had troubles with them and I have four dogs that go nuts when they hear so much as a pin drop. Also my dad's work stuff comes to our house as well, that might have something to do with it. I've only had one thing from Fed Ex that I can think of. The envelope for some reason said it had to be delivered by noon and the delivery women made sure she had at my house before then. XD

it is now 11:15 - they deliver until 11pm.

i'm on hold with FedEx getting ready to deliver one hell of a complaint. After that, believe it or not, I"m going to go fucking shopping because by tomorrow at noon I need to have everything done for Xmas and thanks to those bastards I got nothing done today.

I suddenly feel so spoiled with a postwoman that calls me up to figure out where I am (at home or at work, right around the corner lol) and then comes to find me... Jees. :-\ And it's not like we knew each other before or something... I guess she just takes her job *really* seriously.

Yet another reason why I like being out in the middle of nowhere... The delivery guys I seem to get leave stuff on the porch, and sometimes if stuff needs confirmation, they actually deliver to the Post Office, which then delivers to my house.

I hope you get your package, and give them more than an earful. You would think everyone would have spoken to their drivers, given the bad press lately.

Geeeh. This sucks that this is happening to you and now I'm getting worried. ^^;

I rarely deal with FedEx, but I ordered two sets of ornaments from Bradford Exchange, and apparently they only deliver by FedEx. I fail to understand why they couldn't deliver by USPS. For the amount I paid in shipping with FedEx, to be delivered in "7 to 10 days", they could've shipped USPS Priority with delivery confirmation and the ornaments would probably be here by now. If FedEx tries to pull any of that crap with me, I'll be yelling at the manager AND Bradford Exchange for not giving their customers shipping options. >__<

And what does one get when they combine FedEx and UPS? FedUp.
