Thanks every one! You guys really know how to make a newbie feel good. :) I'll be working on his upper arms and torso this week so when they are presentable I'll post an update.

EAB, The Sculpy is taking the tension of the elastic like a champ, but the I have to be careful with the joints because as they move they rub together and cause the sculpy to sort of wears down because its made to be carved after its been fired. this Wont be an issue once he is cast and I make a resin copy... I just have to be careful because this is the master sculpt that I'll be using to make the molds in the first place..

Maywong: I have a few blue prints for him that measure out at about between 40cm and 45cm.... So when he is done he'll be somewhere between those two measurements.

More stuff going on with Victor, Made him a wig and I did a really cheesy face up so he didn't look too creepy with his eyes in.. This is not the forever face up.. I'm going to sand down the irregularities in his face soon with fine grit sand paper and such. His short hair wig is made entirely from tacky glue, rabbit hair and gauze. Let me know what you think.

I also have a few pictures of all his finished parts together in an artistic heap, lol.

Image

Here is the heap I am going to post up here.. The other may end up on deviant art.

Image

That thing that almost looks like his neck is my index finger...

Image

He looks way too young at this angle, interesting profile he has though... I may have made it too dramatic.

Image

Image

A nice view of the top and crown of his wig... The lighter hair is due to a virus in the characters body causing discolored hair growth.

Image

The back of his wig.

Image

No wig, just face... Bought the Eyes from Safrindoll..

Image

Yep, so what are your thoughts?

I'm impressed with how much character he has. Most dolls don't stand out so much. I especially like his feet and hands.

Thank you very much, It took a day to do each hand and foot, I like to take special care of the parts that are so nimble and animated in real people. I guess since I am the creator, his character doesn't jump out at me like a person who has just seen him for the first time. Thanks again!

Again....I am so speechless. You have amazing talent. I like the wig and the face-up on him. He is a very cool doll.
