Crobidoll is AWESOME!

I don't know how many of you were following this over on DOA, (I only saw it after the event was sold out and I was unable to participate!)...

Crobidoll announced a few days ago that they were having a blind holiday event that people could participate in for $200. Nobody knew what they were going to get for that $200, only that it would be something 'special' and that some of the money would be going to Unicef. Most people involved asumed it would be a small commemorative figure etc.

Crobidoll announced last night that everyone who had participated would be getting a full SD doll and that 100% of the money would be going to Unicef!! How awesome is that?!

*also the money is to go to children's education in Africa I'm still a bit teary eyed after reading that-I spent some time as a volunteer in East Africa a few years back and I can vouch for how desperately needed that money is for education there-Crobidoll rocks!

I had seen that announcement right after it was posted. I was very tempted to purchase, but I had no dollars! xD

Although, I can safely say, that if I were in this same situation two christmas' ago, nothing would have been holding me back from the shopping cart! LOL

Just knowing that they would be willing to to give 100% of profits to such a worthy project makes me want to give my support to them in the future.

Wowwww... and he's adorable too! I think every Crobi that has gone by that I wanted was limited (seriously, they would make sooo much more money if the dreaming versions were non-limited). And my wishlist is killer... but they are definitely a company I'd like to purchase from, and more so now. ^.^
