Miku is 1/2 here! (Mini Dollfie Dream)

Postby AlmySidaKay » Wed Dec 07, 2011 11:46 am

I sadly didn't get any photos of the actual box opening as I usually do because the box was in shreds, I was able to just lift a flap and pull her out of the box, the moment the post woman handed her over. >.> But... here is Miku's body! She sadly came with the small bust, I found one on DoA for a very nice price so she shall be getting the large bust in a week or so hopefully! (This one isn't coming from over seas.) I also have a friend who just donated me a Obitsu Haruka head so that I don't have to just borrow one, and then I can save up for a Volks head in the mean time.

I mostly took comparison shots while she was naked:

At least I can get her to stand, maybe it's the gift of owning fickle resin girls too.

But thankfully I rustled up some clothing right away:

Also, the back of her left leg, the internal skeleton seems to be lower down and is making standing difficult. Any ideas on what to do?

It's sadly pouring rain outside, so I get to deal with horrible lighting while inside, thanks for putting up with my first photos!

Why buy a Volks head if you can have a perfectly good and wonderful Haruka head?????

*only slightly biased*

It also helps that it happens to be getting a face up from Evelien! She just happened to have a spare Haruka head lying around... I'm just trying to make her look as much like Hatsune Miku as possible. I wasn't sure Haruka looks Animetic enough.....

Congrats! I love the shot of the three bodies together. The nice thing about having dolliehs from different companies is you get different body types.

Hehe, sounds like Miku will fit right in...And go as planned...unless a wild floating head appears and claims the MDD body. ("ALL YOUR VINYL ARE BELONG TO US.")
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

I agree, I love seeing the different bodies lol.... and boy howdy those RS girls are slim. I don't have any other female dolls to compare to, and I've never stood Vorelvaeri side-by-side with my friend's IslandDoll Amy to see the difference. No wonder Barbie clothes pretty much fit her. XD

Almy, I hope I can start on your Haruka head soon, it's been wet and stormy here for days now and I may not get the layers of MSC on properly. I might try spraying her in our storage space downstairs. I'll see. I'll keep you posted!
