Darn little applemunchers, they're drawing me in....
Until 3 days ago, I had 1 pony, now ID'd as Daisyjo. Suddenly I've acquired 5 of her sisters, and it looks like I'm collecting ponies now.
MLP Land has been a lot of help- there's a Ponyland Pinkie Pie, a 3" Pinkie,a Rainbow Dash with a *really* long mane and tail, a Minty, and a purple pegasus with a large white star+scattered smaller stars. I think she might be StarSong, but there's not an exact match for her flank marking in the listing. She has a rather 'babyish' face compared to Minty and the larger Pinkie. The markings on her belly say 2009- Dream Valley doesn't go that far, unfortunately.
Sigh...I need to get better at resisting 'cute'. Oh well, ponies- come on in, the shelf space is fine. (Just don't get on they bad side of any figure that's bigger and tougher than you are, 'K? )
Actually, I do have a question for those of you who have been collecting MLP- if a used pony's flank mark is scratched or worn, is it considered better to leave the mark as is or try to fix it? They're otherwise in decent shape- manes need a little restyling, but no dark nasty blotches or gouges or anything. But Minty and Pinkie both have worn paint on their marks, and I do want to make them both as displayable as possible. As original as possible remains to be seen- they'll probably both need a mane trim, and a restyle, anyway.
