What would fit this?

Postby catshem » Fri Oct 28, 2011 6:07 pm

I have the head of what was Originally a Twilight Edward Ken Doll.

And here's what his neck looks like

I'm trying to find out what's the best body fit for this as I'm not sure. I was recommended some bodies, like the BBI 3.5... but I'm not sure about it's neck posts.

Any help would be great!

The BBI 3.5 neck post, you may need to stick something on it for a stopper. The bottom fits in to a ball in the shoulders.

A Traid EVO body will also work. It takes these new Ken heads without the neck.

Ok I hadn't been sure about that neck post. I. Stopped myself from bidding on that body because I had no idea. Thanks for answering as I wanted a better idea.:)

Lost the bid on the body, but I saw a Volks body that looked like it could work and just bought it outright. Hope I don't regret it

Now, I'm thinking of rerooting him as I imagined his character having a sandy blond hair color. But I'm having a heck of a time finding loose hair in the color I want. Which, to me, is weird., but whatever. I measured his head at about 4 1/2 inches so... would wigs even work? I feel like his head would make it not lay right.

Did you look at Dollyhair.com?

There are wigs that small but rooting would work a heck of a lot easier. I've had one guy I made a wig for out of roving wool, kind of like a Jewfro, and glued it in place.

Oh thank you!! She's got a hair color that looks to match closely to what I want!
