Soom Heliot Face-up. Round Two!

Okay, I'd worked on a Heliot for NekoSandy, and honestly was totally *hating* the way it'd come out. It was bland, and looked very depressed. There was no Oomph! or Pizazz!! Every time I looked at the doll, my reaction was 'ugh'. I know, it's weird, but every single face-up that I do, is loved and cherished as though they were my own. ^^;;;

Anyway, here's what the first face-up had looked like:

Yeah, that was kind of 'meh' as far as face-ups go. The entire thing got wiped, and I re-did the face from scratch. So, here's the new version:

....I think given half a chance, I might drag this guy out and try a few wigs on him at this really cute little doll shop. I know they carry Monique Jojos. He might work better with either a purple or a green one, since those are supposed to be his colors. Well, that is if it's okay with NekoSandy. >.>;;;

Next thing I need to deal with on this big boy is his tattoo.... that's gonna be awesome! ^____^

I like him in the pink with the new faceup - and now he doesn't disappear! And since I did get to see him in person I can say that he is amazing! Those colors are so vibrant and he glows!!

love the horn and lips on the 2nd one especially. the fantasy eyemakeup is awsome! I think I liked the first eyebrows better, but overall the whole is so much improved!

Gotta love Heliot...

I liked both face-ups -- but it would really also depend on the eyes and wig, and where you want the "pizzaz" to be. That wig is really vibrant, so a stronger face-up helps balance it out.

Looking forward to seeing his tattoo!
