Another Update! The scales on the front of his body are done. I need to dust the pearl-ex over it, and seal it in, then do the scales on his back.

I saw this on DoA and he's looking great! I love all his scales, especially the facial scales.

Thanks! I'll have another update tomorrow. He got hit with more pastels and glitter. It's been sealed in, and now I've flipped him over to start work on the scales on his back.

don't ever stop. <3

Geez, I'm getting inspired to work on my nonhuman 21cm obitsu... Need to break out the Amazingsculpt for that. and pick up some vinyl dye.

and then figure out the detailing.

Your work is just breathtaking!

What's the price like on those blick pastels you mentioned? I'm looking for a happy medium between quality and price - and hopefully I can get individual ones at my local arts store (they have individual oil pastels, so I don't see why not!)

Actually, Blick pastels are better quality, in my experience, than the Rembrandt pastels. But you're not going to find them for individual sale anywhere but on the Blick website or in a Blick store. Here's the link to the open stock blick pastels They're really inexpensive, $1.89ea

I finished the paint job today, I'll be putting in his eyelashes very shortly, then putting him back together!

omg He's done! Well... the painting. Here is a really bad picture, but I wanted to show him off. I'll be getting some detailed pics tomorrow, when I've got better lighting. Next up, finishing his wig!

I like this price. I like this price A LOT. if these individual prismacolor ones I settled for are no good, i'll probably nab a few of those...

if they ship internationally.that is!

And he is SIMPLY GORGEOUS gosh. I'm in love!
