Not an alien!

As you may know already, I just got an adorable little Hujoo Berry this week. It's super cute, and I loves it!

But people keep calling it an alien. Grrr... Granted, she has no eyes or hair yet, but that's super-frustrating! I rushed to name her quickly, so her name wouldn't become Alien. And at first, I figured that would tone down once I got her eyes and hair, but I'm kinda getting attached to the bald and hollow look. She looks... all-knowing.

Okies, that's my dolly-vent. and Feebee says hi. She's at my desk at work today.

The Hujoo Berries do not look like aliens. However, the Hujoo Hujoos DO look very much like aliens, with or without faceups. It's their weird-shaped eyes and mouths that do it. XD

Seconded! They're very odd looking, but I've seen a few nice ones.

My growing brood wants to know what's wrong with having an alien? (or two, or three.....) Aliens need love too, you know!

You better find her hair and eyes soon. Keeping her bald, hollow, and all-knowing isn't going to help your non-alien case.

My mom asks me about my "alien baby" (aka, my Hujoo) rather often. I tend to take it as a sign of affection. Non-doll people sometimes have weird nicknames for dolls. Shrug it off.

The eyes are waiting on a pre-order. I have the fur to make a wig. I'll be able to make it on Sunday, hopefully. Maybe the face-up should wait for the eyes. I think painting the eyelashes will make her eyelessness show more.

When I first opened my Hujoo Berry I totally thought she looked like an alien, specifically the little Arquillians from Men In Black. As a result my roommate keeps insisting that Ella's middle name is Arquillian. The roommate finds this endearing, I don't mind, everyone wins. And no one has thought she looks like an alien since I did her face up and gave her the eyes and wig.
