My mom works at a store and a customer came in and started at check-out bragging to my mom about how she got a Spectra and how she'll sell her for 500 dollars and go on vacation with the money from her.

Mom knows my hunt for Spectra is still on even though I'm saving up for my BBB girl and she even knows what the doll is called and my mom told her this: "You remember the beanie baby craze?" Everyone who's buying up Abbey and Spectra and thinking they'll make a killing off these dolls are going to find themselves with a lot of dolls giving them The Stare when Abbey and Spectra are in abundance.

Sarah-chan works. It's no problem, I know how it feels wanting a MH doll but not having the money. I still want a Draculaura but I don't have the money.

I understand not wanting to redo some. After turning on the cloning machine I made 2 piles, to reroot and not to reroot. So far the first batch are staying and keeping their Zeppelin names except for Scarlet, first run DL said Dance DL could have that identity, and I added 2011 Cleo and Murky to the family. I think once everything is figured out it'll be half and half staying and going.

For those in to rerooting Beach Draculara goes great with the lavender styling head/kids Liv wig.

*Well, look what the coffin lockers do.

The tops and bottoms lock together so they can stack!
And I've made leaps and bounds with my free coffin modular storage idea. Just a bit more needed in the hmm department then I'll post it.

Yeah...My mom told me I could bid on it but man...People were bidding like crazy it was like a feeding frenzy! My mom said I could buy her if I wanted when my dad get's payed again I'd just have to earn it....

I have! I couldn't stop laughing at how Abbey was just so well...Badass sorta. I love how she's like: "You want it come get it." She made my want list after that just cause I love her attitude.

I burst out laughing when Abbey first appeared and Spectra's hand shot a picture of her. We need a full Spectra ep though!

All right, you guys got me out of lurking again. I blame this thread for sparking my sudden interest in Monster High. I was really skeptical about how creepy they looked at first but they actually look really great in person and the articulation was a great addition.

I customized my first two dolls who were both Gloom Beach dolls.

Draculaura is my favorite. I liked her face a lot but I didn't like the make up and the heart tatoo which is why this is a plain repaint. All versions of her I've seen here has crappy fang paint. The paint just spills in her mouth and she seems to look a lot better without the fangs. She's got a cute pouty mouth!



Here's Cleo. I took out her tinsel and she looks much better with plain black hair. I really didn't like the green make up she had on.



I'm planning to customize the other 3 girls from the Gloom Beach series as well as Holt. Currently I'm working on turning Clawdeen into a kitsune.

The Monster High trunk at TRU isn't a doll trunk It's just an over priced box with Monster printing. It'll hold them and their stuff.

I hit on a set of collapsable snap together storage boxes in Monster pink, just add stickers and they're a much cheaper Monster box.

I gave in and got the Lagoona I wanted today. I love her little leg and arm fins and the cute little braid in her hair! The paint job on her finger webbing is a bit sloppy. I wonder if that is fixable?

I think she's pretty as is and will probably leave her be. The plus side is that she already looks alien, so she's an easy add to the family. She'll just need a name change.
