Went to walmart today to stock up for hurricane evacuation supplies and stuff and it seems like not only is walmart out of Milk, bread, water and eggs.

But monsters as well. I guess doll collectors everywhere are worried that the dolls could be ruined in flood waters! It's their duty to protect them!!!
Haha, not really but it was a funny thought.

In other news I'm extraordinarily pleased with my Physical Deaducation Ghoulia, she's awesome.

Thanks. Unfortunatly...*sulks* The shipping's way too much...I'm sure Spectra'll come my way one way or another...

Even if I have to order her directly from the warehouse.

My first one I paid over retail for, and found the second at the store :/ (rerooting her right now). It was the same with Abbey, pre ordered one, found one at the store and bought.

Poke around the buy it now and be ready to pay a bit for what you want because he price will only go up. Don't forget to check Amazon!

Thanks! That means a lot that you found this one for me. I'll keep an eye on her.

BTW guys you wanna hear something hilarious?

My mom works at a store and a customer came in and started at check-out bragging to my mom about how she got a Spectra and how she'll sell her for 500 dollars and go on vacation with the money from her.

Mom knows my hunt for Spectra is still on even though I'm saving up for my BBB girl and she even knows what the doll is called and my mom told her this: "You remember the beanie baby craze?" Everyone who's buying up Abbey and Spectra and thinking they'll make a killing off these dolls are going to find themselves with a lot of dolls giving them The Stare when Abbey and Spectra are in abundance.

Thanks again Sarah-chan (if I can call you that) I'll talk to my mom later tonight...Thing is I'm still broke but I'm gonna try.

That is so dumb. She's not going for that much on ebay right now or ever. I don't have a job right now, so that is what I do, I keep track of new toys that are coming out try to find them at the stores when they stock. No, I'm not a scalper. I put them up on ebay for a little bit more than what I payed for them and the bidders jack up the price themselves. Last week I sold a Spectra for $28, and that was high for then. Spectra's value has decreased a lot. Abbey is going for almost twice of what she is in the store. The Abbey I've got on ebay has 15+ on it, and it's at $36.

Back when I could find lalaloopsy's they were going for $50 - $70 depending on which one. All I can ever find is Dot now though...

And when the Wii U comes out, I'm going to be waiting in line for that thing so I can sell it on ebay. xD

[EDIT:] oh, keep looking for Spectra, I've been finding her every time I go to the store. Our TRU down here has a large display of Monsters and most of the Walmarts do too. She'll turn up. :)

I know. My mom said when she gets paid again if Spectra's re-stocked on Mattel's online store I can order her from them if I can't find her anywhere else.

I've been hankering to do a paint job on a doll for a few days now, and remembered that MH came in colors. So, today I went down to Target and grabbed one of the many Dracularas they had an abundance on. I have to say, I'm really digging her! I love her skinny, little body! She's the dead tired one with the straight up pigtails which are also cute beyond words.

I'll probably remove her face tomorrow and do...something.....
It's time for a new alien to arrive!

The one I really loved was Lagoona, but she looked so pretty that I just didn't want to buy her and redo her. Perhaps I'll get her at a later time.
