If you opened your house and charged admission you should add guided tours. Between unwatched children wanting to play and unwatched adults wanting to steal you'd need to protect your treasures. I used to display my Trekkers in places, fairs, libraries etc, and would have grown adults trying to pry the cases open to get at them Kids left nose and finger prints.
Not just a tour guide but armed guards all named Guido, who speak with Italian/Brooklyn accents. Any of yooz guyz touches dese here dolls is gonna swim wif da fishes!
Yeah, if I'd have a house like that for display, I'd have it set up like House on the Rock where everything is like a museum - encased in glass (can't get there unless you're 'behind the curtain' so to speak) and alarm sensors for when some goof would break the glass to get to the displays.
