Er... that's Joss Whedon, but yeah... NAIL on the HEAD!!
I notice a couple of things.... K2 is meticulous in wording and so on....
When Sapphire replies to the girls she says "WE'LL be fine..." H'mmmm
And she is not *sacrificing* Diamond... she is evidently *delivering* Diamond to M'lady to BE sacrificed at a later date.... HOPE!!
Also, in panels 10 and 11 when Sapphire goes to sit down on the leopard print sofa... note the dead fly on the ground to the right. In the first panel it's evident, in the next it can be seen behind
Anna Marie's leg (to the right of her)
Dun Dun DUNNNNNNNN!!!
I KNOW K2! That fly is UP to something!! It's either a super sophisticated listening device, planted there by Jazz or the demons in order to track down the girls and return them to captivity!
Or perhaps it is... Diamond! Knowing that she was to be sacrificed (she'd seen it in the signs when she poured milk on her Wheaties that morning... the milk had swirled counterclockwise, warning her of an insidious evil plot by her sister so she stored her essence in a horcrux (fly) until she could warn the others!
Or... Yes! THAT'S IT!! It's HYATT!! Returned to the physical realm in the form of a deceased insect to try to save her friend Diamond from the machinations of her evil sister!
Of course there IS a vanishingly remote possibility (unthinkable with K2's evil mind behind this series!) that the formerly buzzing germ-laden corpse is just that... a fly that died of natural causes while the girls were all on vacation... Anna Marie will sweep it up and dispose of it......
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
DAMN you K2! You are just too DEVIOUS for your audience!!
(Grabs popcorn, a comfy cushion and a can of Raid)
