Greetings from canada!

Postby Skitterbug » Wed Jul 20, 2011 8:26 am

Hey everyone! I've been lurking around the forum a bit and decided to register just a bit ago. And now i"m here saying hi! :D

So I think the biggest reason I've come over here (and one other forum too) is that you guys (girls? Whatever, lol) don't mind the smaller vinyl/abs Obitsus - which are the only ones really in my budget.

Anyway, I've ordered in my first 27cm obitsu, the normal body (soft busts weird me out a bit) and a nano haruka head (along with wig and eyes)

... and already I'm contemplating a second. I saw a thread here about the Angel Gate heads, and I reeeaaally want to snatch one up and put it on an Obitsu.

I like obitsus.

(Well, technically, the Angel Gate one would be a third, as I'm going to be ordering a 21cm obitsu for some heavy customizing (with resculpting and everything))

help meeeee I'm already in love with these little fellows. I never got poseable dolls when I was young, and HATED my barbies with their no elbows or knees.

Hiya and welcome! Glad to have another Obitsu fan! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

This is a crazy new adventure for me, what with being determined to do my own faceup and then the sculpting nonsense for my other one.

Hey, at least i've got experience! Er, sort of. Entirely different medium (hrmhrmponieshrm)

And I recognize your doll! One of them. I saw Violet while I was trying to decide what doll I wanted - she's lovely. :) I was half tempted to put a little pullip on an obitsu, but that is juuust a little more expensive.

Welcome aboard!

Not only do we not mind 27 cm vinyl/ABS dolls but at least one moderator here (c'est moi!) is a dedicated "sixth scaler" and many members here collect dolls in a variety sizes/scales/materials.

I keep finding people whose dolls I know! Probably not a big deal but it makes me excited - Evelien, I remember Eiki! (and her mohawk, haha.)
