Are you sure? I thought it said somewhere that they were 65-70cm. Did I just imagine that?

The boys look like rent-boys...then again, so do 80% of the other male dolls out there, which really ought to fit them right in at DoA.

I like the look of the Dark Soo - last doll in red dress! Basically, they are the same size as my mermaid from Resinsoul! About 14 inches or so. Slightly smaller than a regular MSD - and proportioned more like an SD which is why they look taller. I suspect the DOA problem is that they are "fashion" dolls! Hence the name ChicLine. They are supposed to have lots of different parts to swap out - obviously chest size for one. I would not mind if one of these were to come home... Think of a fashion doll with Puki posability!

Sorry for the retarded question but... having never touched or seen either one other than in pictures, whats the puki's posability? like, what makes it as posable as it is? o.o and what makes a fashion doll, a fashion doll? x.x;;

It's both too bad they're so small... and pretty kewl to see them a bit smaller... Good for those that want something MSD sized (being that SD may be too big for them), but not child-like...
I wonder how much they will be... they're not listed on the Fairyland site, yet, and no real info on the link in t he thread...

*Jawdrop*

Those are seriously gorgeous! They're like ... like the Luts Delfs gone realistic! I love that they kept the names of the original Delfs. If they come out with a realistic-looking Shiwoo I am SO screwed. Although that El looks mightily yummy ...

I'll bet Fairyland kicks Dollmore's Fashion Doll's ass in posing. I've seen very few dolls that pose as well as Fairyland's do, with all their jointing (their small dolls, anyway. Their 70cms are about average). I'd say they're probably equal to Obitsu, or pretty darned close.

You know, Dollmore has their 16 inch Fashion Doll, which is off topic on DOA even though they're basically just shorter versions of the Dollmore 70cm Model, which is ON topic. It won't surprise me at all if they deem the ChicLine off topic.

Puki's have amazingly well designed joints - their knees look like KNEES when they bend! They have a kneecap!! Puki's can stand unsupported on one hand. They have hands and feet that are changeable with magnets. They have magnetic faceplates too - their head is actually the back and lower part of the head - which means you can have one doll and change the eyes, or face without taking of its head! AND their pukifee, littlefee, and minifee do the SAME THING! I don't know about feeples, but I wouldn't be surprised. The MSD active line body can lay on it's tummy and still bend up to watch tv and read a book. Very posable. Best engineered dolls out there. And affordable!

OH - Domuya has a fashion line too - and they are lovely!

Imma highjack this thread for a second. Here's a pic of my minifee, Puck. He's on an activeline body, the one that poses really, really well. He's also got magnetized hands that you just pop on and off, and of course the neck locking system that makes switching heads out so much easier.

Image

The Littlefee can pose the same way. My little girl can crouch on her haunches and stay that way. And it looks NATURAL when she does it. She also has magnetic hands and magnets in her back and head, for wings and ears and such.

The Pukipuki also have magnets in their heads, but none in their backs. They have magnetic feet, though, that can be switched out from regular feet to resin boots or paws. Very cute. I'm assuming the Pukifee are very similar, as well.

The Feeple aren't QUITE as well-jointed, being 70cm, and they have no magnets anywhere. But I'd say they're probably better than average for their size, and FAR more natural-looking unclothed than, say, the new Dollshe bodies (which kinda creep me out). I can make my Feeple boy sit with his legs crossed. And he has the double-jointed knees that look like knees (and elbows). He also stands steady as a rock, unlike my Delf boy who likes to keel over. And he's got a fabulous torso. <3

Seriously, Fairyland is brilliant with their jointing in the MSD and smaller. They're probably my favorite company to buy from because of it. I seriously hope they'll soon post "action" pics of their ChicLine and really show us what they can do.

Dang o.o Convenient-ness abound...

I'm not a big fan of the dude faces (Feeple/Mini fee) currently (I tend to look at the dudes more than the girls OTL)... but the chicline....
